For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house.
One yellow-eyed wolf--her wolf--is a chilling presence she can't seem to live without.
Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl.
In summer, a few precious months of being human . . . until the cold makes him shift back again.
Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away.
It's her wolf.
It has to be.
But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human--or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.
This book is raving the nation. Almost as addicting as Twilight. This book caught my attention from the first sentence and didn't let go until I turned the last page. Yes, it's just that good.

A tale of twelve princesses doomed to dance until dawn… Galen is a young soldier returning from war; Rose is one of twelve princesses condemned to dance each night for the King Under Stone. Together Galen and Rose will search for a way to break the curse that forces the princesses to dance at the midnight balls. All they need is one invisibility cloak, a black wool chain knit with enchanted silver needles, and that most critical ingredient of all—true love—to conquer their foes in the dark halls below. But malevolent forces are working against them above ground as well, and as cruel as the King Under Stone has seemed, his wrath is mere irritation compared to the evil that awaits Galen and Rose in the brighter world above. Captivating from start to finish, Jessica Day George’s take on the Grimms’ tale The Twelve Dancing Princesses demonstrates yet again her mastery at spinning something entirely fresh out of a story you thought you knew.
This book took my breath away. It was just that good. Although some of the words were hard to pernounce, I got through it without stopping. It puts a mondern twist on the story you once knew.

Three angels are sent down to bring good to the world:
- Gabriel, the warrior;
- Ivy, the healer;
- Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio.
But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyone—especially herself—from the Dark Forces.
Is love a great enough power against evil?
This book maybe thick but it's filled with love and adventure! I absolutly loved it!
I'd recommend this book to just about anyone! A word of advice: Don't be discouraged by it's size. It's a great read.
